What Is The Difference Between Guarantee and Warranty ?

  • Hi! Guys, All Of Us Must Have Gone Through The Terms Warranty & Guarantee, Right?
  • So, Today I am going to explain this how these two terms are different from one another.
  • Ok, First I am making the table for you to separates the twos for your easy understanding

  • GUARANTEE

    WARRANTY

    A guarantee is promise that if certain product or service is not fulfil the according the criteria given, the value of the product or service will be refunded.

    A warranty is a term of contract, any breach or violation of this terms give rise   to claim for damages, but not full cancellation of the contracts.

    Example, David sells an I-phone to Warner, David Guarantee that this device will provide 5 days battery backup. If this phone could not meet up the criteria given Warner can ask a full refund for his money given.

    Example, In case of warranty if the criteria not met up as claimed by the David, Warner can lodge a complaint to compensate the damages such repairing the device.

    Guarantee is Commitment ( Guarantee very less chance to fail ,if fail will get full refund )

    Warranty is Assurance (Warranty could be failed)

    Guarantee could be Written or oral

     

    Warranty generally written

    Guarantee is given in case of Product, Service ,or Person

    Applicable to only product
